QURBAT- A Cafe Tour Story With Tanisha J.
I recently visited a cafe, situated in the old city Udaipur, Rajasthan and here’s what all I have to tell you about this one serene evening from the 2023 experience.

“Qurbat” meaning, “a relationship of harmony” is a perfect way to enhance your tour experience on a certain day of exploration. Wondering why?
Here are a few pre-thoughts to be reserved in your mind and placed in your heart before you visit all such places!
1 Plan a day with shattered clouds and slow winds or else, “Just about to rain” would also work
2. This could be amazing in the evenings, post-sunset, not always weekends
3. A group of friends/ family is always a perfect idea but sometimes’, you go alone or limit the people to a number 3 or less!
4. Do not hesitate to fresh- up your mind before leaving for the place and completing all your scheduled work beforehand
5. Travelling might annoy you but half- way walking is also not a bad idea! After all, this will increase your quest to explore the place more
6. And last but not the least, empty the space in your phone for some good-to-go video’s and photographs but never forget to memorise the place in real!
Qurbat is one such short Vibe check experience for you!
The CAFE Experience
The entrance of the place is in itself a carved grande first gate which is nostalgic to the behaviour of wooden artists dating back from the royal centuries. Situated on the IInd floor of the Hotel, this part, the cafe conveys the story of a couple in the PINK and INK BLUE theme.
As you Step- In, you are welcomed by a luxurious chandelier, perfectly glittering and respecting the surrounding’s of the grand palace art piece.
Turning around and scanning the eye’s with a 360* view, you will appreciate the art of the paintings’ on the wall, customised and by hand attempted work!
The artwork at the roof near the chandelier and the window alike carving, a kind of illusion of a real window, can be interpreted as “the Darbaar” feeling. Attached to the hall is the readily set and stacked bar, full of expensive glass bottles and tastes’.
A Bowl full of “Smoothie” of your choice with crispy potato fries would never upset your stomach and will balance the diet plan for you!
The Place- QAALA (Art Bar & Coffeehouse)
Qaala, defines “an art in language Hindi” is a Qurbat of the current times with an ancient architecture and art pieces mixed with the modern furniture. The experience the place shares’ on a good day will make up a memorable time for you! This place is certainly a Two-In-One delight of the old and new design!
